You are not lazy... be encouraged.

This was my positive "find" today... searching for info. on Stevia and I found a video by Abbey Gibbs.TV (Bossified). She was talking about monk fruit... I didn't find my answer on stevia yet, but I got some encouragement. Abby is a journalist who was sick with Lyme & Co.: https://abbeygibb.tv/bio/ I've not found her exact treatment details yet, but what I found was her empowering videos, interviewing people, and even her short video on green drinks was just funny: 20 second clip: "some days your green drinks taste amazing, and other days they just taste like grass".

I got off my butt today and made one of my grass-shakes. (Lately I've been tired of making them.) My bonus today was finally putting in the fresh garlic and ginger I've had sitting on the counter for weeks. (because it never seems to go bad, right?!... not until it goes bad). Abbey has several videos on her website ... this one inspired me to chat about, shhhh.... being LAZY... LAZY???? errr, how about we call it RECHARGING, and find the positive.

In this quick interview, Dana (of Boss Mom) says :

" I work my butt off.... sometimes I work A LOT and

sometimes I DON'T WORK AT ALLl!"

So be encouraged. YOU ARE NOT LAZY. YOU MAY be sick... but you are not lazy.

_________________ Success is 80/20... your challenge turned blessing.

---------------------

So, are you being LAZY? ... or are you RECHARGING?

... all people have different levels of energy and capabilities. It's actually "decision confidence" ... have confidence deciding if you'll run that extra errand, or just "make do" with what you have. Or recharging with Netflix (or an inspirational video) on your rainy day, when you could or "should" be working. Wear yourself out and get sicker? Or do what you can ... and keep your balance? WE make this decision daily... try something new. Dana says she didn't know she liked HONEY MUSTARD until she was 30, because she didn't try it! It is the little things!

My encouragement on this topic:

It is easy to feel guilty when resting or recharging, as a parent, owner of a small business, or one with a long-term illness, or for one who simply does not know what they are supposed to be doing yet.

You may be told you are lazy (or not doing enough) ... what?!@#? .....

< Really... What?

< I've heard and seen this way too much.

So many people are talking about this in the group feeds... or crying rather, about not getting the compassion and the support they need.

Please... stop discouraging people by heaping on negativity and saying that they are " ---blank---" , ie.- "you are not good enough". <

Show compassion and ask what people may need... (an 'almost stranger' asked this recently and I almost cried).

Anyone who is not at a 'high peak of success', with everything going right in their life, or sick, is already going to be self-shaming or dealing with negative talk: (I'm tired. I'm ugly. I'm fat. I'm not making enough money. I'm not getting enough done. I'm not at my best. I'm not a good "whatever", etc. ... I might die. )

... If you are struggling to get through the day...

"find your success in a SINGLE moment".

That's right. Go get some water, breathe, and deem THAT simple act a success.

Listen to something inspirational. Find the positive. Give the positive. Be the positive. :) Updated to add: I posted this blog in one of my lyme groups... and let me just tell you... it posted between two posts... both were family members shaming the person with lyme. I may want to write another blog, and perhaps make this topic somehow, if possible, relatable to someone without lyme? No. Wasted energy. As I just commented to this lady: "I hope our (blank, insert mom, husband, friend) see's your illness with new eyes. Put them in God's bucket, pray for them." And go on and do what you can do. Because we are tired enough without added negativity. "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20)
